Carolyn Davenport-Moncel
is a virtual assistant and president
of MotionTemps, LLC. Coupled with
her more than 10 years of experience
in office administration, she has
more than 10 years of experience working
in media relations and Internet marketing.
She has spent time
both in the private sector - in
agency, corporate and nonprofit
environments, and also in the public
sector developing strategies for
local political campaigns.
In addition to her duties at MotionTemps,
Carolyn Moncel also serves as president
of Mondave
Communications, a subsidiary
of MotionTemps, LLC, which provides
media relations training and services
to small-business owners. She is
a member of Sisters and also the
executive director of OuiWIT, World
Women in Technology (WorldWIT)'s
English-speaking chapter in Paris.
Prior to the launch of MotionTemps,
LLC, Carolyn Moncel served as
Communications Manager at Amdur
Spitz & Associates, a full-service
marketing communications agency,
which targets youth arts education
within the nonprofit sector. Before
joining Amdur Spitz & Associates,
Carolyn Moncel served as marketing
manager for iParenting.com, one
of the leading online communities
devoted to parents and parents-to-be.
Prior to iParenting, Ms. Moncel
worked for J. Walter Thompson,
Chicago, assisting both conventional
and interactive account management
teams on such clients as Blockbuster
and Nabisco.
Carolyn Moncel began
her Internet marketing career at
A2S2 Digital Projects, which later
became Speakout.com, an Internet
publishing company based in Chicago
with offices in Washington, DC.
Serving as marketing manager, PR
Coordinator and community liaison,
Ms. Moncel assisted in the launch
of two bipartisan public policy
Web sites, Policy.com and IntellectualCapital.com.
She is a graduate
of Loyola University Chicago and
still remains active in the university's
alumni inner-city student recruitment
program. Her mother tongue is English
and she speaks conversational French.
